- Retrolux is a monolith that helps the lighting industry perform quicker enegy audits.
- I designed and built a revamp to our calculations engine. Adding in line items. This gives our users complete control over their proposal costs.
- Challenges:
- Implementing a checksum auto update and calculate user changes.
- And creating an Single Page App feel to the line item experience.
- Created a mapping feature where a user can drag and drop pins indicating locations on a building floor plan. This was our users most requested feature for over 1.5 years.
- Challenges:
- Dragging the pins over a specific interactive space.
- Mimicking the touch functionality on both web and mobile experiences.
- Building out the sync layer to handle all of the additional changes.
